Improve Health at Any Age

Aging doesn’t have to mean declining health. Brad helps seniors improve their health, so they can enjoy life again.

Worried About These Signs of Mental and Physical Decline?

Forgetfulness

Is it Alzheimer’s or simply side effects of too many medications? Memory loss impacts seniors’ ability to be self-sufficient and remain independent.

Frequent Falls

Balance issues cause seniors to fall more, leading to broken bones and increased frailty. Falls are responsible for 70% of accidental deaths in adults 65 years and older.

Change in Mobility

Doing the senior shuffle? Can’t stand from a chair? Having trouble going up and down stairs or getting in or out of the bed or car? These warning signs shouldn’t be ignored.

Mood Changes

Experiencing agitation, withdrawal or repetitive behavior with words or phrases? These symptoms can be signs of mental decline.

We Can Help!

proper evaluation is needed quickly to avoid further decline. Brad finds the cause and develops a plan to restore lost functionality, so seniors retain their independence and enjoy an improved quality of life.

Studies show 90% of seniors desire to age in their own homes.

To remain independent, they must stay mentally and physically healthy.

Assisted living facilities are costly and typically do little to restore a patient’s mental and physical health. The “Budde System” offers a proactive approach.

The Budde Difference

Home Care

Getting seniors to their appointments can be stressful. In their own homes, patients are more comfortable, less stressed, and learn better in their familiar surroundings.

Experienced Team Approach

Often care is disjointed and outcomes suffer. Brad serves as the in-home team captain for patients, families, and caregivers, to ensure coordinated care and optimal results.

Independence is the Goal

90% of seniors intend to remain in their current home for 5-10 years.

Unfortunately, mental or physical health issues often challenge their independence. Seniors don’t want to be a burden and resist moving in with family, but they can’t afford the expense of an assisted living facility ($7,000-$10,000/month).

By enhancing seniors’ memory, strength, and balance, Brad helps them become more self-sufficient and able to “age in place.”

Your Advocate in Restoring Health

You want an experienced, licensed therapist with problem-solving skills and proven success. Unfortunately, changes in 2020 Medicare reimbursements will drastically reduce the quality of Physical Therapy (PT) care.

  • As of January 1, 2020, New Medicare rules reduce physical therapy visits in the home
  • Assistants, not licensed Physical Therapists, will be used for these reduced home visits
  • Additional financial costs for physical assistance and housing will be inevitable, if not prevented by Brad’s friendly and practical approach.

Why People Choose Brad

Dr. Steven Cullen, MD - Referring Physician

Brad strives to learn everything he can about his patients and home or emotional factors that might expedite a full recovery. He is equally, if not more, interested in patients’ emotional connections and well-being. He becomes invested in every patient and makes their success his personal challenge.

We have a long list of patients who have had a successful course of therapy with Brad and subsequently considered him a friend and physical health mentor.

It is without reservation that I recommend his Physical Therapy services because of the skill he possesses and the person he is.

Dr. Steven Cullen, M.D. – San Clemente Internal Medical Group

Parkinson's Patient

What a gift Brad has been. I can’t put into words what he’s meant to my husband, Jerry, and the support he’s given to me and my daughters. Initially, my husband was very skeptical about hiring Brad, but Brad won his trust and respect.

We had used a lot of physical therapists, but Brad addressed Jerry’s issues differently, more innovatively. Brad worked on the same issues but varied his program weekly. He didn’t just address Jerry’s physical issues, but him as a person. Brad helped Jerry with emotional and psychological issues that were getting in the way of his health improvement.

Brad kept Jerry motivated and physically viable for much longer. Without him, Jerry would ‘ve given up, shriveled up, and rusted on the shelf. As a caregiver, you feel alone. While everyone has their part, the doctor, counselor, physical therapist; Brad pulls the whole team together and supports the caregiver and family.

Brad is very compassion and emotional. He’s ideally suited to working with seniors. He knows what they need and how much to push them. He provided value far beyond what we paid him and became part of our family. I highly recommend Brad.

Physical Therapy Patient

Brad’s caring and dedication have made all the difference in helping to bring my spirited and loving mom back to me after she fractured her hip at age 94.

Following the surgery, her prognosis to walk again was not promising. She was terribly depressed and frustrated by her loss of independence.

Finding Brad was truly a godsend.

Not only did mom regain her confidence and ability to walk but she greatly surpassed our expectations of recovery both physically and psychologically.

Her overall strength and balance have improved thus reducing the risk of injuries and helps to maintain a higher quality of life for her. She continues to improve and looks forward to her regular visits with Brad where he actively engages her in exercises and activities that surprise, and delight even her.
